Difference between HC type electric hoist and CD type electric hoist

HC type electric hoist and CD type electric hoist are improved design and manufacturing according to GB3811 “Crane Design Specification” and JB/T9008.1~9008.6 “Wire Rope Electric Hoist”. They can be used for single beam cranes, double hoists, hoist gantry cranes, etc. Heavy equipment.
The HC type electric hoist is a wire rope electric hoist with a large lifting capacity and a high working level. The lifting tonnage is generally more than 16 tons. It can be divided into two types: running type and fixed type.
The CD1 electric hoist belongs to the wire rope electric hoist, which is a light and small lifting equipment, which can be installed on the hoist single beam, bridge crane, gantry crane, and cantilever crane. With a slight modification, it can also be used for hoisting. The lifting speed of the CD1 electric hoist is normal, which can meet the general requirements.
HC, HM type wire rope electric hoist is different from CD1, MD1 wire rope electric hoist in that it generally has a maximum lifting capacity of more than 16 tons (including 16T), while CD1/MD1 type wire rope hoist generally refers to less than 16t. CD1 and HC are electric hoists with single-speed lifting, that is, the lifting speed of the electric hoist is only one speed. The MD1 and HM lifting speed are two-speed, which is one more slow speed than CD1 and HC. Under normal circumstances, the slow speed of the double-speed hoist is one-tenth of the fast speed. The drum cover of the wire rope electric hoist of type CD1 and MD1 is cylindrical. The HC and HM type electric hoist have a square drum cover. The strength of the force is better than that of the cylindrical type. However, the size of the square drum of the wire rope electric hoist of the same specification and model is larger than that of the cylindrical type, and the lifting speed of this type of hoist is slower.
In general, the application of CD-type electric hoist is more extensive than that of HC-type, and HC-type is more used in hoist double-girder bridge cranes.
