There are two driving modes for overhead traveling mechanism: centr5alized driving and separate driving. Traveling mechanism generally needs four driving wheels and driven wheels. If lifting height is large, the common way is to add wheels to reduce wheel pressure.
Metal framework of bridge mainly consists of main girder and end girder, which can be divided into single main girder and double main girder. Single main girder consists of one main girder and end girder on the both sides of span. Double main girder composes of two main girders and end girder.
Overhead crane is one kind of crane whose bridge travels on the elevated trackway. Bridge of overhead cranes travels along with trackway paved on the both sides of elevated track. Trolley travels along with trackway paved on the bridge. Therefore, a rectangle working range is formed, which can make full use of space under the bridge without blocking from ground.
Overhead crane is widely used indoors and outdoors such as warehouse, workplace, port and open material storage. Overhead crane can be classified into ordinary overhead crane, simple-girder overhead crane and overhead specialized in metallurgy.
Ordinary overhead crane generally consists of lifting trolley, bridge traveling mechanism and bridge metal structure. Lifting trolley composes of lifting mechanism, trolley traveling mechanism and trolley frame.
Lifting mechanism includes motor, brake, reducer, drum, and pulley group. Reducer drives drum to rotate to make wire rope around drum or from it down, thus lifting weights. Trolley frame is the rack for bracket, installation lifting mechanism and trolley traveling mechanism, etc.
